Bequests / Planned Gifts
Legacy gifts enable individuals to make a lasting contribution to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at a level they may not have been able to achieve during their lifetimes. Naming the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network as a beneficiary in a Will or Living Trust, Insurance Policy or IRA/Retirement Plan are common examples of legacy gifts.
Another planned giving option allows donors to support the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and receive tax relief by leverage certain kind of appreciated assets, such as stock. Charitable Remainder Trusts and Charitable Lead Trusts are two examples of this kind of planned gift.
Please keep in mind that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is not engaged in rendering legal or tax advisory services and that advice from legal counsel, such as an attorney or other professional advisor, should be sought when considering these types of gifts. The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network will be happy to work with your advisor to ensure that your gift will have the greatest possible impact on our quest to defeat pancreatic cancer.
If you have already included the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in your estate plans, please let us know so that we may thank you. If not and you would like to find out more, please contact:
