Get Involved With PanCAN and the Pancreatic Cancer Community
1. Let your patients
know about PanCAN's Patient and Liaison Services (PALS) program.
PALS Associates provide one-on-one information and education to
patients and family members, via PanCAN's toll free phone number
(877-272-6226) or by email (medinfo@pancan.org).
Request PALS brochures and educational booklets from PanCAN and
provide them to patients and families in your hospital or clinic.
All services and educational materials are provided at no charge.
2. If you are conducting
clinical trials in pancreatic cancer, let us know about your studies.
PALS Associates can provide your trial information to potentially
eligible patients.
3. Provide an educational
presentation at a local PanCAN TeamHOPE meeting. PanCAN TeamHOPE
is comprised of community-based team members across the country,
volunteering their time to raise awareness and educate their communities
about pancreatic cancer. You can help educate volunteers and members
of the community about pancreatic cancer treatments and research.
4. Get in touch
with your local PanCAN TeamHOPE and attend a meeting or event.
Contact PanCAN's National Headquarters (877-272-6226) or click
here to learn about the nearest TeamHOPE.
5. Apply for a PanCAN
pancreatic cancer research grant. Click
here for information on available grants, applications,
and deadlines.
6. Participate in
our annual Lobby Day in Washington, DC and/or contact your U.S.
