Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s Unprecedented Initiative to Secure Private and Federal Funding for Pancreatic Cancer Research

RAISE THE CURE is the Largest Initiative in the Disease’s History

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s RAISE THE CURE initiative seeks to secure both private and federal funding for pancreatic cancer research. The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network will raise $25 million in private funding over the next three years to support pancreatic cancer research and is asking for an unprecedented $170 million in federal funding to carry out The National Plan to Advance Pancreatic Cancer Research.  The merging of these funds will support RAISE THE CURE, a comprehensive strategy and action plan to put pancreatic cancer research on the fast track in finding a cure.

While we work to secure the federal funding component of RAISE THE CURE, we also seek to raise $25 million for private research over the next three years, with every dollar raised going directly toward advancing research.  Once again, we enlisted the support and insight of our Scientific Advisory Board, Board of Directors and other leaders in the field to develop a strategy with the most impact.  We found that the single biggest need is to advance research across a diverse portfolio of interrelated actions.  The result is the RAISE THE CURE Research Portfolio.  Click here to view the research portfolio.

At the core of our effort is an exclusive donor group called the Visionary Circle.  This special group of donors will provide the immediate investment necessary to jumpstart the research pipeline and spur medical discovery.  Becoming a member of the Visionary Circle puts you at the vanguard of advancing the research that will provide better treatments and create real hope for the pancreatic cancer patients.

Visionary Circle
